Meet the Authors

Dr Jean Drouin

Born in 1948, Dr. Jean Drouin is a clinical professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Laval University and the author of several books on health. During his 45‑year career at the Laval University Medical Center (CHUQ), he served as head of the family planning service for more than 20 years.

He continues to practice medicine, and his reputation in hormone therapy extends far beyond Canada’s borders. He is also the founder of the Quebec Andropause Clinic. His medical training includes osteopathy, homeopathy, Chinese medicine, and integrative medicine, giving him a comprehensive and holistic approach to health.

Raymond G. Paquet

Born in 1945, Raymond G. Paquet is a researcher and long‑time collaborator of Dr Jean Drouin. For more than 20 years, he has promoted the concept of global health and contributed to the development of several works on well‑being and prevention.

Before retiring, he worked as a bankruptcy trustee and financial planner. His multidisciplinary background also includes naval and architectural design, computer science, and sommellerie. Today, he is, amongst other occupations, an author and editor.
